In the last line of this article one UN staff member says “if everyone has sex, everyone is at risk”. Are people who have condom-protected sex at risk? Nope.

Here an expatriate writes on HIV in Lashio for the Myanmar Times. The [him] moderator wishes a Myanmar journalist would do this.

A glance at the maps in this newish report shows that Myanmar / Burma is not accountable. No surprises there. What is shocking is that the country made no report to the UN Secretary General about HIV last year. The [him] moderator was informed by an anonymous UN staff person that a report was made, but the report has never been made public on the UNAIDS or ICASO websites. One wonders whether the UN staff person was misinformed about the government submitting a report.

At first, people who wanted to point a finger at others had Haitians to blame. Then they had Burmese. Now we can all blame the lemurs. It is all the prosimians' fault.
