The last line of this article states that youth will be “aware of the pitfalls of drug use and other risky behavior such as unprotected sex”. That is partly correct. Drug use itself does not lead to HIV acquisition or transmission. The use of nonsterile injecting equipment does. … But any time the church talks about unprotected sex is an opportunity to talk about protected sex.
