Thanks to Daw Phyu Phyu Tin for sharing these two stories. They are not typical stories of HIV infection in Burma. Most stories of infection are among sex workers and their customers, men who have sex with men, and often among people who inject drugs. HIV Information for Myanmar would like to publish more stories of the multitudes that have been brought to her attention.

တကမၻာလံုးကို ဆယ္စုႏွစ္ သံုးစုနီးပါး ဒုကၡေပးလာတဲ့ AIDS ကို တကမၻာလံုး သတိတႀကီးနဲ႕ ၀ိုင္း၀န္း တိုက္ဖ်က္ၾကဖို႕ ရည္မွန္းခ်က္ထားၿပီး ဒီေန႕ သတ္မွတ္တာပါ။ AIDS ေရာဂါဟာ လူသားေတြအတြက္ က်န္းမာေရးကိစၥရပ္တင္ မဟုတ္ေတာ့ပါဘူး။ ေရာဂါသည္ေတြကို ခဲြျခားဆက္ဆံမႈေတြ ေရာဂါသည္ေတြအေပၚ အထင္အျမင္မွားမႈ အထင္အျမင္ေသးမႈေတြကစလို႕ လူ႕အခြင့္အေရး ခ်ိဳးေဖာက္မႈေတြလည္း ျဖစ္လာပါတယ္။ လူမႈေရး ပညာေရး စီးပြားေရး စသျဖင့္ နယ္ပယ္အသီးသီးနဲ႕ပါ အက်ံဳး၀င္ ဆက္စပ္ လာပါတယ္။

Is the IOM experiencing a sweeping shortage or a stockout of antiretroviral medication? Is there a policy to give them to all people who meet eligibility criteria or only those in extremis?

ေရာဂါျဖစ္ပြားသူ စုစုေပါင္း၂၄၀၀၀၀ဦး ခန္႔ရႇိၿပီး အိတ္ခ်္အိုင္ဗြီ၊ ေအအိုင္ဒီ အက္စ္ႏႇင့္ဆက္စပ္ ေရာဂါေၾကာင့္ ႏႇစ္စဥ္ေသဆုံးသူ ၂၅၀၀၀ ခန္႔ရႇိေၾကာင္း တရား၀င္ ထုတ္ျပန္ခ်က္မ်ား အရ သိရသည္။ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံ၏ ေအအိုင္ဒီအက္စ္တိုက္ဖ်က္ေရးသည္ ေအာင္ျမင္မႈ လုံး၀ရေနသည္ဟုမဆိုႏိုင္ ေသးေသာ္လည္း သူ႔အတိုင္းအတာ ႏႇင့္သူေတာ့ ေအာင္ျမင္မႈ ရေနသည္။

ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံတြင္ ခုခံအားက်ဆင္းမႈ ပညာေပးလုပ္ငန္းမ်ား တိုးျမႇင့္လုပ္ေဆာင္ရန္ လုိအပ္ေနေၾကာင္း လူငယ္ဖြံ႔ၿဖိဳးေရးႏွင့္ HIV/AIDS ေဝဒနာရွင္မ်ားကုိ ကူညီေနသူမ်ားက ေျပာသည္။

မဲေဆာက္ႏွင့္ျမ၀တီၿမိဳ႕မွ အိတ္ခ်္အိုင္ဗြီပိုး ကူးစက္ခံရသူမ်ားႏွင့္ ေအအိုင္ဒီအက္စ္ေရာဂါ ျဖစ္ပြားသူူ (၆၀) ခန္႔သည္ လာမည့္စေနေန႔တြင္ မဲေဆာက္ၿမိဳ႕၌ ေကာင္းမႈကုသိုလ္ျပဳျခင္းႏွင့္ ေတြ႔ဆံုႏွီးေႏွာပြဲ ျပဳလုပ္ၾကမည္ျဖစ္သည္။

ႏိုင္ငံေက်ာ္ အလွဖန္တီးရွင္မ်ားက ဦးေဆာင္၍ ရန္ကုန္တိုင္း ကရဝိတ္ ေမွ်ာ္စင္ကၽြန္း၌ က်င္းပရန္ စီစဥ္ထားသည့္ ကမၻာ့ AIDS ေန႔ အထိမ္းအမွတ္ ၿပိဳင္ပြဲကို ေရႊ႕ဆိုင္းလိုက္ရေၾကာင္း ပြဲစီစဥ္သူမ်ားႏွင့္ နီးစပ္သူမ်ားက ေျပာသည္။
