American news about Myanmar is often superficial and biased. Here it is said that the HIV / AIDS crisis is 'burgeoning'. That means increasing. Is incidence increasing? No, it is probably declining. Is prevalence increasing? No, in most populations and places it is declining. Is the response in crisis? Nope. What crisis are they talking about?
