ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Test စမ္းနည္းကို salvia or urine, blood တမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးကို စမ္းတယ္။ အဲဒီ တမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးထဲမွာ HIV antibodies (အိတ္ခ်္အိုင္ဗြီ-အင္တီေဘာ္ဒီ) ပါ-မပါကို စမ္းတာ ျဖစ္တယ္။ ပဌမတခါစမ္းလို႔ အေပါင္းျပသူျဖစ္ျဖစ္ အႏုတ္ျပသူျဖစ္ျဖစ္ ဒုတိယတခါထပ္စစ္တယ္။ ႏွစ္ခါလံုး အႏုတ္ျဖစ္သူကို ေသျခာေပါက္ ေဆး မစစ္ခင္အထိ HIV ကင္းရွင္းသူလို႔ သတ္မွတ္တယ္။
