CD4 ဆိုတာ လင္ဖိုဆိုက္ (Lymphocytes) လို႔ေခၚတဲ့ ေသြးျဖဴဥ တစ္မ်ိဳးျဖစ္ျပီး ကိုယ္ခႏၶာ အတြက္ ေရာဂါ ပိုးမႊားေတြကို တိုက္ခိုက္ေပး ခုခံအား စနစ္မွာ ပါတဲ့ ေသြးျဖဴဥ တစ္မ်ိဳးျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ လူတိုင္းမွာ CD4 ရွိပါတယ္။ သာမန္အားျဖင့္ ေသြးတစ္စက္မွာ CD4 cell အေရအတြက္ ၅၀၀ မွ ၁၅၀၀ ၾကား ရွိႏိုင္ပါတယ္။ CD4 အေရအတြက္ နည္းေနတယ္ဆိုတာ ကိုယ္ခံအား က်တာကို ျပသပါတယ္။
