We have the opportunity to raise an Aids-free generation in Asia and the Pacific, ensuring no child is born with HIV, and that those children living with HIV have access to the treatment, care and support they need to remain alive and well, said Isiye Ndombi, Unicef deputy regional director for East Asia and the Pacific.

AIDS ေရာဂါဆိုးၾကီးသည္ လူ႔အဖြဲ႕အစည္းတြင္ မိသားစု မ်ားစြာကုိ ရက္စက္စြာ ခြဲထုတ္ ဝါးမ်ိဳလ်က္ ရွိသည္။ လြန္ခဲ့ေသာ (၂၇) ႏွစ္ေက်ာ္ ကာလကတည္းက သေႏၶတည္ လာေသာ HIV ေရာဂါပိုးသည္ မိမိတို႔ ဝင္ေရာက္ ခိုကပ္ေနေသာ သူမ်ား၏ အသက္ဇီဝိန္ကုိ ဆြဲႏႈတ္ယူငင္သြားေသာအခါ ၎တို႔၏ ကေလးငယ္ မ်ားသည္ ေလာက အလယ္တြင္ သိမ္ငယ္စြာ က်န္ရစ္ခဲ့ၾက ပါသည္။
