အဓိကေတာ့ က်မတုိ႔ ႏိုင္ငံမွာ HIV/AIDS အျပင္ အျခားေသာ က်န္းမာေရးနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္တဲ့ ျပႆနာေတြလည္း အမ်ားႀကီးရွိတယ္။ ေနာက္ တခ်က္ကေတာ့ ဒီလုိျပႆနာေတြ ေျဖရွင္းဖို႔ဆုိရင္ အားလံုးမွာ တာဝန္ရွိတယ္လို႔ ျမင္တယ္။ အားလံုးဆုိတာ အစိုးရပိုင္းမွာလည္း တာဝန္ရွိတယ္။ ျပည္သူ တဦးတေယာက္ခ်င္းကလည္း တာဝန္ရွိတယ္လို႔ျမင္တယ္။ ဘာေၾကာင့္လဲဆုိေတာ့ တဦးတေယာက္ခ်င္းကလည္း ကိုယ့္ရဲ ႔ ရပိုင္ခြင့္ေတြ၊ ကိုယ့္ရဲ ႔ အခြင့္အလမ္းေတြသိမွ ကိုယ္ဘာေတြ လုိအပ္ခ်က္ ရွိေနတာလဲ။ အစိုးရပိုင္းက ဘာလုပ္ေပးႏိုင္မလဲ။

ျမန္မာနိုင္ငံတြင္ အျခားေသာ ေရာဂါမ်ားအတြက္ နိုင္ငံ တကာအဖြဲ႕အစည္းမ်ားမွ လႉဒါန္း မႈမ်ားရွိေနေသာ္လည္း အသည္း ေရာင္စီပိုး ေရာဂါ အတြက္ သုံးစြဲရေသာ ေဆးဝါးမ်ားမွာမူ နိုင္ငံတကာ လႉဒါန္းမႈမ်ား မရွိေသးသည့္ အတြက္ မိမိတို႔အဖြဲ႕မွ တတ္နိုင္ သည့္ဝန္ျဖင့္ စတင္ျခင္းျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း HIV ႏွင့္ အတူေနထိုင္ သူမ်ားကြန္ရက္ ဥကၠ႒ ဦးမ်ိဳးသန္႔ေအာင္က ရန္ကုန္တိုင္းမ္ေန႔စဥ္ သတင္းစာသို႔ ေျပာသည္။

ေယာက္်ား ပီသလိုက္တာလုိ႔ ယူဆရတဲ့ မင္းသားၾကီးက အဲဒီတုန္းက “ေဂးေရာဂါ” လို႔ လူတိုင္းက ယူဆထားတဲ့ AIDS ေရာဂါ ျဖစ္ေနျပီး ဆိုေတာ့ ပိုျပီး အံ့ၾသၾကတာေပါ့။ ေနာက္ျပီး အဲဒီအခ်ိန္မွာက AIDS ဟာ နာမည္ပ်က္၊ အသေရပ်က္ ေရာဂါ ျဖစ္ေနေတာ့ အုတ္ေအာ္ေသာင္းတင္း ျဖစ္စရာ အေၾကာင္းတစ္ခု ပိုျပန္တာေပါ့။ သူတက္ေနတဲ့ ပဲရစ္ျမိဳ႕ရွိ “အေမရိကန္ ေဆးရံု” က အာဏာပိုင္ေတြက RocK Hudson ကို သူတို႔ ေဆးရံုမွာ မထားခ်င္ေတာ့ဘူး။ သူနာျပဳေတြကလည္း ေရွာင္ေနခ်င္ၾကတယ္။
