ဘန္ေကာက္ၿမိဳ႕တြင္ ျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့ေသာ AIDS ဆိုင္ရာ အာရွႏွင့္ ပစိဖိတ္ေဒသ ၁၁ ႀကိမ္ေျမာက္ ႏိုင္ငံတကာ ကြန္ဂရက္ (ICAAP11) သို႔ ႏိုင္ငံေပါင္း (၈၀) မွ ကိုယ္စားလွယ္ ၄၀၀၀ နီးပါး တက္ေရာက္ၿပီး HIV ကာကြယ္တားဆီးေရး အတြက္ ေဆြးေႏြးခဲ့ၾကသည္။ အာရွႏွင့္ ပစိဖိတ္ေဒသတြင္ လူ ၄.၉ သန္းခန္႔ HIV ပိုး ကူးစက္ခံထားရသည္ဟု UNAIDS ၏ အစီရင္ခံစာ တေစာင္တြင္ ေဖာ္ျပထားသည္။

AIDS နဲ႔ လူထုက်န္းမာေရး အႏၱရာယ္၊ AIDS ေရာဂါသည္ေတြ ခံစားေနရတဲ့ ကိစၥနဲ႔ ျပႆနာေတြကို ဆက္တုိက္ဆိုသလို တင္ျပ ေဖာ္ထုတ္ လာၾကတယ္။ ဒီေတာ့ AIDS ဟာ “ေဂး” ေတြနဲ႔ အျခား လူနည္းစုကိုသာ ကြက္ျပီးထိတဲ့ တိတ္တခိုး ေရာဂါလို႔ လူေတြ အသိစိတ္မွာ ေပါ့ေပါ့ပဲ ထားခဲ့တဲ့ ေရာဂါ ဘဝကေန လူသိမ်ားတဲ့ ေက်ာ္ေစာတဲ့ ေရာဂါ အသြင္ ေျပာင္းသြား ခဲ့တယ္။

ႏိုင္ငံတကာတြင္ အဆိုပါနည္းလမ္းျဖင့္ ကူးစက္ခံရမႈ ငါးရာခိုင္ႏႈန္းအထက္ ေက်ာ္လြန္လွ်င္ အႏၱရာယ္ရိွသည့္ အဆင့္အျဖစ္ သတ္မွတ္ျခင္းျဖစ္သည္။ HIV ကူးစက္ခံရမႈ အေျခအေနသည္ ရန္ကုန္ၿမိဳ႕ရိွ ကေလးေဆး႐ံု မ်ား၌ပင္ ရိွေနၿပီး မိခင္မွကေလးသို႔ ကူး စက္မႈမ်ား ရိွေနသည့္ အတြက္ ရန္ကုန္တိုင္း အစိုးရ အဖြဲ႕အေနျဖင့္ HIV ကူးစက္ခံရမႈဆိုင္ရာ အခ်က္လက္ မ်ားကို စနစ္တက် စိစစ္ရန္ လိုအပ္ေနၿပီဟု ၎က ယူဆထားသည္။

ေဒါက္တာညဳိညဳိသင္းက ျပည္တြင္း အေျခစိုက္ ဆာဒါးအမည္ရွိ HIV/AIDS ေရာဂါ ေဝဒနာရွင္မ်ား ျပဳစုေစာင့္ေရွာက္ေရး အဖြဲ႕၏ သုေတသန ျပဳခ်က္အရ ရရွိလာေသာ အခ်က္အလက္ေပၚတြင္ အေျချပဳ ေမးျမန္းျခင္း ျဖစ္ေၾကာင္း ေဒါက္တာ ညဳိညဳိသင္းက ဆိုသည္။ “ဝန္ႀကီးက ကြၽန္မေမးတာကို ေသခ်ာ သေဘာမေပါက္ဘူး ထင္တယ္၊ ျပန္ေျဖတာမွာ ဘယ္လို ေဆာင္႐ြက္မယ္ဆိုတာ မပါဘူး” ဟု ၎ကဆိုသည္။
