၂၀၁၃ ခုႏွစ္အတြင္း HIV ကူးစက္ခံထားရၿပီး စစ္ေဆးသိရွိျခင္း မရွိေသးသည့္ လိင္တူ ဆက္ဆံသူ အမ်ဳိးသား ၇,၀၀၀ ေက်ာ္ရွိမည္ဟု ခန္႔မွန္းၿပီး ယင္းႏွစ္အတြင္း အမ်ဳိးသား ၂,၈၀၀ ဦးခန္႔ ထပ္မံ၍ HIV ကူးစက္ခံခဲ့ရသည္ဟု ခန္႔မွန္းထားသည္။ ဆရာ၀န္မ်ားက အကာအကြယ္ျဖင့္ လိင္ဆက္ဆံၾကရန္၊ လိင္ဆက္ဆံဖက္ အေရအတြက္ ေလွ်ာ့ခ်ရန္၊ လိင္တူဆက္ဆံသူ အမ်ဳိးသားမ်ား အနည္းဆုံး ႏွစ္စဥ္စစ္ေဆးမႈ ခံယူၾကရန္ ၫႊန္ၾကားထားေၾကာင္း သိရသည္။
