HIV မိခင္ကေန ေမြးလာမဲ့ကေလးမကူးေစေအာင္ – ကိုယ္ဝန္ေဆာင္စဥ္၊ ေမြးဖြါးေနစဥ္နဲ႔ ကေလးႏို႔တိုက္စဥ္မွာ ပိုးရွိ မိခင္ကေန ကေလးဆီ ကူးနည္းကို ေဒါင္လိုက္ ကူးနည္းနဲ႔ (MTCT) မိခင္-ကေလး ကူးနည္းလို႔ေခၚတယ္။ ကူးစက္ဘို႔ အခြင့္အလမ္း ၁၅-၄၅% ရွိတယ္။ မိခင္ကို ARVs ေဆးေပးပါ။ CD4 count ကို ၾကည့္မေနပါနဲ႔။ ၂ဝ၁၂ အထိ ၁႕၅ သန္း ကိုယ္ဝန္ေဆာင္ ထဲက ၆၂% ဟာ ဆင္းရဲတဲ့ ႏိုင္ငံေတြ က ျဖစ္တယ္။ ၂ဝ၁ဝ တံုးက ဆိုရင္ ၄၈% သာ ရွိခဲ့တယ္။
