Health inequality in Myanmar cities

I don’t know why this paper funded by USAID and the erstwhile 3MDG Fund is so well hidden. https://dhsprogram.com/publications/publication-fa124-further-analysis.cfm There are great health inequalities between the rich and the poor *within* cities in Myanmar. Except in contraceptive prevalence. That is something that family planning providers can be proud of. Jamie

Dengue getting worse

Many articles by @ElevenMyanmar are confusing. In the extreme. Here I think the journalist confused dengue with dengue hemorrhagic fever. They call it DHF. Dengue *cases* in 2018 were probably 23,000 and the number of deaths from severe dengue (including dengue hemorrhagic fever or DHF), was 112.
