"In spite of the gradual decline in rates, a disquieting trend shows the epidemic tilting toward average married women and housewives. This trend indicates that the largest number of new HIV infection is occuring through spousal transmission."

The epidemic is 'tilting away' from 'low risk women'. Not towards them. This is not disquieting. It is worth celebrating!
