The Minister of Health in India made homophobic statements and then tried to deny he said this or that. Hindustani speakers can watch him on video and decide for themselves if his statements were homophobic. The [him] moderator thinks they were.
And here is a statement from Myanmar. Thanks to SEA-AIDS for posting.

WE CANNOT AGREE WITH HIS REMARKS THAT MSM ARE HIDDEN PEOPLE. INSTEAD THEY ARE STIGMATIZED, MARGINALIZED AND DISCRIMINATED PEOPLE
Dear SEA-AIDS members,
Thanks to Mr. Azad [Indian Health Minister]! He clarified his stands on homosexuality in an International conference and he should always stand to his remarks and increase his commitments [that he didn't say homosexuality is a disease, and unnatural].
Referring to his remarks, "what is worrying for us is we have not been able to reduce this number for MSM. That is a cause for worrying because their location and persons are not known".
We cannot agree with his remarks that MSM are hidden people. Instead they are stigmatized, marginalized and discriminated people. He should, as a responsible person, advocate to draw such a policy to remove the taboos surrounding MSM population, legally, socially and psychologically. We hope he will work on that to keep his words true.
