I feel a rant coming on.

There will be an Aid and International Development Forum in Naypyitaw 14 and 15 June.

There are many great speakers. Most of them are paid their salaries out of public funds raised by governments through taxes. Their participation in the Forum is thus subsidised by you and me.

IMO there should be at least a nod towards accountability for the use of public funds by the Forum organisers. Some of the presentations should be livestreamed or at least videos of the presentations should be archived on websites for us all to see after those who have paid admission have seen them.
