Here you can watch a short and not very analytical Al Jazeera video on injecting drug use in Myitkyina.
The blurb below the vid says "up to half of the young people in the area are battling drug addiction." This is inaccurate and irresponsible reporting. If they are going to say fifty per cent, why not say ninety per cent or a hundred. Al Jazeera should do better than this.

Although the government keeps a tight lid on drug abuse and HIV infection statistics, experts say that up to half of the young people in the area are battling drug addiction.
The name of our correspondent has been withheld to secure her safety as international journalists are banned from reporting from inside Myanmar.
