"As of late yesterday, all 6 Global Fund Round 9 grants agreements have been signed between PR and the Global Fund. Signatures of the witness are being collected.

This marked one of the historic moments for Myanmar to fight the three diseases with international financial support. The successful signing of the grant agreements leads to the immediate secure of a total 105,273,950 USD for the first two years of the five year grant implementation cycle, for which, 46,123,053 USD for HIV, 26,021,547 USD for TB and 33,129,350 USD for malaria."

This very much needed resource could not be introduced in without the true commitment and support of all stakeholders, including government, national programmes, implementing agencies, UN agencies, donor community, civil society and people living with the diseases."
