Now you can automatically make your email safer by making Gmail always use https.

Go to your Gmail. Click 'Settings' to the right of your address in the upper right hand corner. Then click the first tab on the left titled 'General'. At the bottom of the choices you can click the radio button "Always use https". Then 'Save Changes' right below and you don't have to worry about using https again.
