If the gov are really on the path toward democracy, just love their people first. Participation is very critical to real development. How many NAP's staff around the country? Do they have enough manpower to reach 240,000 infected people (what they wrote, might be higher : who knows?). Do you have any evidences to code that PLHIV are involved in political matters? Eventually, they were just seeking the options to have access to ART through different channels.
Just remember what one sex worker said previous years at the meeting, Dear Doctors; you are perfect in providing medication toward us but you are lack of knowledge about sex worker's sexual behaviours. In this subject, you should not have said that I know better than those girls (sex workers). If you know our business better than us, you must have been screwed for decades like us.
So that I urge you all - Try to listen their feelings as much as you can! PLWHA are perfect in their business. Give them freedom first, if you are really looking for democracy in the near future. At the moment, there are lack of Cotri- moxazole prophylaxis at NAP's clinics but those are available at drugs stores around (with WHO logo). Remember, we all are deserved according to what we have done. By that time, get ready - don't run away like a fox. We just come to the world as a visitor, onetime or another we will leave with ...........
Once you are ready to accept changes in your lifetime, go and visit the Thia PLHIV networking System,
then I hope you all can make better and brighter future for the sake of Myanmar PLHIV.
Thank you!
