Buddhist ART (Anti-Retroviral Therapy) for AIDS
EXHIBITION

An exhibition of paintings by novice monks from temple schools in Northern Thailand, and refugees from the Shan State in Burma, showing how the Buddhist Dharma can be used to mitigate the impacts of HIV and AIDS.

Venue:     Health and Development Network
22-22/1 Soi 1 (the first Soi on the left going from Chang Puak Gate to Chiang Mai Gate)
     Ratchaphakhinai Road,
     A. Muang, Chiang Mai.

Date:    30 Jan–22 Feb 07 (Opening Ceremony 4.00 p.m. 30 Jan)

Time:    08.30 – 16.30 daily

Remarks:  The opening ceremony will be followed by a forum on “Religion and AIDS”.  Speakers will include representatives from the Buddhist, Christian and Islamic faiths.

Calendars of the paintings will be on sale with all proceeds going to support people infected with/affected by HIV and AIDS.
