A good slogan does not make a good strategy!

HIV is in the central point of the spotlights the last 30 years but the momentum is fading away and some bureaucrats who want to keep their position created this triple zero objectives, without acknowledging that syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhea are still around. Those are markers of difficulties to reach the objectives of zero infection. In addition discrimination against drug users will not disappear by the virtue of the zero goal setters.

It would be interesting to do the math of the reduction of one infection knowing that is the easiest part to decrease from 30 to 10%... going down from 10% to 0% would be another story.

The uncertainties of the survival of the GF make those chimerical objectives a raison to doubt or to laugh. A kind of "give us more money NOW and this time we swear we will do it right."
