Union Health Minister receives UNAIDS, UNOPS officials
New Light of Myanmar

NAY PYI TAW, 12 May-Union Minister for Health Dr Pe Thet Khin met Country Coordinator Dr Sun Gang of UNAIDS, Chair of the 3DF Mr Ulrich Sorensen of UNOPS, First Secretary Mr. Shaanti Sekhon from Embassy of Commonwealth of Australia in Myanmar, and a delegation led by Director and Resident Representative Mr Sanjay Mathur of UNOPS (Myanmar) and party, at minister’s office here yesterday separately.

At the calls, they discussed fight against AIDS, research and surveillance, fight against three major diseases, providing more support for child specialists, rebuilding of rural health care centre for newborns and child health care and more support for child immunization.
