Continuing yesterday's theme of secrecy, the HIV Information for Myanmar [him] moderator would like to clarify [him]'s privacy and confidentiality policy:

The [him] moderators are anonymous though some of you know who we are.

All emails to the [him] moderators are private.

Sources of information for [him] are not posted by the moderators without the express written consent of the author.

The [him] moderators maintain the email lists and email addresses are not given to others. Only people who ask to be put on the list are put on the list. The [him] moderators do not send out mass emails for others. The [him] moderators do not send out mass emails asking for people to subscribe.

Commenters on the blog and users of the blog comment box must recognise that there may be a permanent web record made of their comments and they should not disclose their identities unless they accept a permanent record.
