Human papilloma virus and sex workers

Cervical cancer is not communicable. But the cause, human papilloma virus, is. Prevention of infection with HPV is not included in recent WHO guidance on HIV and STI prevention among sex workers. Neither is treatment.

Should prevention for this transmissible disease be in the guidance? Yes. Should treatment for this noncommunicable disease be in the guidance? No.

Thoughts?
