ICAAP-10 Satellite Meeting

Scaling-up the AIDS response in Myanmar – technical and financial resources need for implementing the National
Strategic Plan 2011-2015

 The Myanmar National Strategic Plan (2011-2015) was developed through an inclusive process. If the plan is fully funded and well implemented by all parties, Myanmar is possible to achieve HIV related targets of MDG6 by 2015. Good progress and experiences have gained over the past years with the support of Three Diseases Fund and the recently introduced Global Fund resource, much more need to be done. This satellite session, in a format of panel discussion, will provide an opportunity to interested people to have thoughtful insights into the progress, challenges and unmet needs for the scale up of effective AIDS response in Myanmar.
