Educative talks on AIDS held in Insein Locomotive Shed
YANGON, 22 Dec — Educative talks on AIDS was held today at Insein
Locomotive Shed in Insein Township.
In an effort to raise public awareness of AIDS, Myanmar Maternal and
Child Welfare Association-MMCWA organized the talks.
It was opened with an address by Chairperson of Yangon Division Maternal
and Child Welfare Association Supervisory Committee Daw Khin Thet Htay.
Dr Daw Wai Wai Tha of MMCWA explained the purpose of the talks.
Dr Htin Aung of Anti-AIDS and -Venereal Disease (VD) Project gave talks
on AIDS and Dr Than Oo of MMCWA on maternal and child welfare tasks.
