Is there a new nonsecret about transgender women in Myanmar?

A comment was made on the Science Speaks blog about the Irin article that [him] reported on as "Hard to reach in the most extreme sense" http://www.hivinfo4mm.org/hard-to-reach-in-the-most-extreme-sense/.

Jill Gay March 13, 2014 at 3:02 pm commented: "We completed a gender assessment in Myanmar in collaboration with UNAIDS, to be released publicly later this year, but it is no secret that transgender populations in Myanmar also have high rates of HIV, as do sex workers, with low access to services."

A gender assessment of HIV in Myanmar would have noted that an increasing proportion of new infections in Myanmar are in people who inject drugs, most of whom are men. And that mortality among them is one of the reasons for decreasing prevalence among these men.

I am interested to hear about the secret of HIV prevalence in transgender women. Or lack of a secret? If data on transgender women has been disaggregated from 'men who have sex with men' data then this is the first time he has heard of it.

HIV incidence and prevalence in female sex workers is decreasing.
