Job Announcement

The Asia Pacific Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (APN+) is seeking to recruit new staff to manage its regional community treatment database. Based in Bangkok, these challenging posts will involve working with a dedicated team of people living with HIV in the region and APN+ secretariat  team. A willingness and proven commitment to working for people living with HIV is essential for successful candidates. All job applications will be treated as strictly confidential.

The M&E Officer position is open to applicants of all nationalities.

Reporting to: APN+ Global Fund Grant manager
Contract duration: initially 2 years with possible extension
Remuneration: Reasonable salary will be provided.
Starting date: June 2011
Deadline for submission: 28 April 2011

M&E Officer

Qualifications

Education: Preferably advanced university degree in public health, management, social sciences, demography, development planning or statistics.

Experiences & Skills:

    Fluent communication in English and 1 other Asian language (spoken & written).
    Expertise or experience in the formulation, design, development and implementation of M & E framework.
    Ability to analyze and consolidate information from multiple sources.
    Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and grantees of diverse backgrounds.
    Able to work long hours and flexible working hours.
    Previous working experience in M&E unit in a PR for at least 2 years highly desirable.
    People living with HIV/AIDS are encouraged to apply.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

    Monitor SR project implementation & adherence to agreed work plan and budget and produce quarterly report on SR project implementations.
    Conduct annual evaluations of projects at SR level and produce annual reports of SR project implementation.
    Facilitate & develop documents to provide M&E assistance to the sub-recipients.
    Maintain communications with sub-recipients in order to identify potential issues and address emerging issues related with project implementations.
