Massive gap in services in Rakhine

There is a massive gap in services following MSF Holland's suspension of services in Rakhine. One hopes that all stakeholders get behind this message.

Here is an anonymous comment based on http://www.hivinfo4mm.org/media-chill/.

Unconfirmed reports coming out of the Ministry of Health are that ART provision will be based on the display of national ID card and distributed out of Sittwe General Hospital. There are at least 650 people on ART in Rakhine about half of whom are in Sittwe. Patients in northern Rakhine can't get to Sittwe due to movement restrictions.

So how will movement restrictions affect PLWHIV's ability to access ART in northern Rakhine state? One hopes all nongovernmental stakeholders think of this before leaping to the rescue...
