Myanmar Positive group launches two reports

The Myanmar Positive Group reports below on their World AIDS Day activities. People living with HIV appear to have been locked out of the Nay Pyi Daw commemoration but there were many other events where they were not.

The MPG would like to update information to you that World AIDS Day 2010 commemoration ceremony was held on 4th December (1:00 P.M to 6:00 P.M) at Judson Hall, Pyay Road, Kamayut Township, Yangon. There were total 456 attendants from NAP, UN agencies, INGOs ,NGOs and MPG network members and their family members. In commemoration, MPG launched the access to treatment position paper and stigma index report to all stakeholders and network members. MPG implemented these two studies among the network members in 2009 -2010.
