YANGON, 19 Dec - The Myanmar Anti-Narcotics Association held its 9th annual meeting at the training hall of MANA (Head Office) on Kyuntaw Street in Kamayut Township this morning.
Chairman U San Thein of MANA made an opening speech on the occasion and presented a certificate of honour to honorary patron Dr Nay Win. The chairman accepted K 100,000 each donated by CEC members Dr Soe Myint and U Khun Myat (La Htaw), and K 200,000 by Chairman of Mon State Anti-Narcotics Association U Nay Win (Arrow Myanmar Enterprise Ltd).
Joint-Secretary U Myint Khine (Admin/Organizing) dealt with the new setup of MANA and sought approvals. Joint-Secretary U Tha Tun (International Relations) read out MANA Strategic Plan and MANA Operational Plan drawn by officials concerned of MANA.
Officials concerned replied to suggestions of CEC members.

People in these areas need substantial support to overcome these major problems like drugs and serious diseases. If only people could learn from this... we wouldn't see history repeating even more dramatically.
