* For over two decades at UNEP, UNCED and UNDP, he conceptualized, formulated, approved and implemented a wide array of programmes and projects related to environmental management, sustainable development, poverty alleviation, strengthening the role of gender in development and governance.
* UNEP Industry and Environment Office, Paris, France; Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, Bangkok, Thailand and Deputy Executive Director, with rank of UN Assistant Secretary-General, Nairobi, Kenya (intimately involved in the many aspects of environment and sustainability).
