Most of the guidance has already been presented in various other publications. This publication consolidates the guidance and puts it in a new confusing format.
But, I think that pre-exposure prophylaxis or prep for men who have sex with men is ill considered. Just because something can be done does not mean it should be done. Pre-exposure prophylaxis for gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis has been available for over fifty years, and these infections are much more infections, but it has never been studied. Because it is a bad idea from the start.
