The courageous monks in Burma are an inspiration to all of us around the world who care about Burma and the well being of the people of Burma.

Would it be possible to ask religious leaders as well as followers of religions in various countries to pray and make merit for the monks either in front of Burmese embassies or in their own religious communities for a few minutes a day.

If international media report on these activities, the monks and people inside will feel more support. Desmond Tutu, Dalai Lama and other leaders could even lead these activities.

With Respect and Metta,

Saw Lwin
