"RedRibbon4U" would like to invite you all
--------------------------------------------------
The "RedRibbon4U" HIV Information Sharing Forum would like to invite all our friends to participate in the Forum.
In March 2008 we discussed the need to share AIDS and HIV related news among Burmese people. The internet will become a place where everyone will come in the future and so we decided to use the medium of the internet. We decided that we could create a website as a meeting place. Our goal is to share information and to raise more awareness about HIV Myanmar youth and the general public.
We would like to invite anyone to participate who would like to know or discuss about HIV. You can learn the latest developments about HIV, share your experiences and discuss HIV with others.
We have already posted a collection of articles and resources related to HIV/AIDS and Burma in the Burmese language. We have a plan to post resources in English in the future. We are working together with HIV Information for Myanmar [him] and we will continue to work with them.
Please visit our website and there we encourage to you to give advice, discuss, share your experiences and make friends. People who would like register at the website can send an email to info [at] redribbon4u [dot] com. We are still preparing a user registration for our website and we have hope to have it available soon. We promise that we will never share your email address or your identity with anyone.
You can access the website at

The related news about CMS system we use for RedRibbon
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
We built our website with the SPIP CMS system so we could make the entire interface in the Burmese language. This system is good for online media publication. SPIP is the first localized CMS system in Burmese. We also encourage all to use the Unicode system and here we use Parabaik font compatible with the recent Unicode 5.1 standard. There are still some translation mismatches with other usages or unfamiliar technical terms that still need to be standardized. You can visit the SPIP documentation section and read about it in Burmese.
We welcome your advice and experiences related to SPIP. You can contact us through info [at] redribbon4u [dot] com.
