Two days ago at https://tinyurl.com/ln5nzry, I ridiculed a World Bank diagnosis by saying that changes in the health care system in Myanmar would not be fast or easy.
A reader has responded, named with permission.
"Actually what we need is to change the system by upgrading and making allocation to make primary health centers into well equipped ones. This includes the Township Medical Officer, physicians, an obstetrician/gynecologist and pediatrician who can handle their respective communities. Only they can refer to the secondary and tertiary hospitals. By changing this, patient overload and high workload of staff at the secondary and tertiary hospitals will be reduced.

What do readers think of this reorganisation idea?
