HIV-NAT is proud to offer a number of symposium scholarship from Thailand and neighbor countries (Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar and India). The number of scholarships is dependent on the funds available in the Scholarship Fund. Applications are required to complete the application form, and return with CV to the symposium secretariat by 15 November 2010.
The number of Awards available in each country is limited, and applicants are advised to pursue other funding options as well. The Symposium Committee will not provide financial assistance to delegates who arrive at the Conference without a confirmed award.
The scholarships are aimed to provide those who are doctors, nurses, scientists and other health professionals in resource-poor settings who want to acquire research skills, methods or training which they can only obtain away from their place of employment and cannot be funded by these organizations to attend the Conference. If you have applied for a Scholarship, you will be advised of the acceptance status of your application by Mid-November 2010. If you have not received notification from the Secretariat by 30 November 2010, please would you be so kind as to e-mail jeerakan.j@hivnat.org to confirm the outcome.
