Regional assessment of HIV, STI and sexual health needs of transgender people in Asia and the Pacific

As many of you know, I am currently working with WHO-WPRO on a regional assessment of HIV, STI and transgender sexual health in Asia and the Pacific. This is the first time WPRO is commissioning a transgender sexual health and HIV/STI report. This report will make recommendations to member states and WHO on various aspects of transgender health.

In this connection, I am asking for your help in answering the 8 questions below so that we may better understand issues relating to access and barriers to health services, needs and concerns from transgender people and recommendations for government and WHO. We are hoping to compile these responses over the next few weeks and we would very much appreciate if you could send your responses to my email tguadamu@hotmail.com by the first week of January, or by January 9th.

And please feel free to forward these questions to your transgender subregional and national networks. Many thanks in advance for your help in this.
