We are writing to ask for your involvement in a consultation about the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (www.theglobalfund.org). This is a key time for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The biennial Partnership Forum is taking place from March to June 2011, providing a unique opportunity for partners to engage and input into the work of the Global Fund. A key priority area in these consultations is the new five-year strategy that the Global Fund will develop and approve in November 2011. Learning from the lessons of implementing and managing the Fund since its inception ten years ago, the Global Fund is supporting a broad-based consultation to hear from constituents their views on various aspects of the Fund and its operation and direction. Consultation opportunities over the next few months will include:
- An online survey in four languages [English, French, Spanish, Russian], March/April 2011
- eForum dialogue and discussions in four languages [English, French, Spanish, Russian], April/May 2011
- Partnership Forum main conference event, under the theme of “Working Together, Shaping the Future (Access, Accountability, Rights)”, 28-30 June 2011, Sao Paolo, Brazil, June 2011
- Country-level interviews in selected countries
