The head of the national AIDS programme Dr Myint Shwe, two months ago made a presentation on the contribution of the Three Diseases Fund to the national response:

A few challenges are presented. "Limited availability of HIV counselling and testing services" is listed first. It is unfortunate that the presentation did not inform us how many HIV tests were performed in the country or how many HIV tests were performed using 3DF resources. Or what the national need is. Or who was tested. That might have validated (or not) presenting limited HIV testing as a challenge.
