Recently the moderator posted a reader's question on how a new mathematical model from Sydney for Indonesia differed from the old Asia Epidemic Model from Hawaii.

He received the following response:  "Both models are very similar in the principles of using behaviours, surveillance and PMTCT and ART data. The overall results are within the uncertainty analysis of the outputs of the models. We have not explored in depth all the details or compared both models. So we are unable to judge which one is better.If you like cars what is the best red bull, maclaren or ferrari? Red bull is the usual winner but sometimes maclaren or ferrari can win as well.  Do you need to build another car to see if they can perform better than red bull?"
