HIV prevalence in people who inject drugs in Myanmar is increasing. Prevalence is measured in places where services are delivered so true prevalence may be even higher than the prevalence that is measured.
I don't say this often, but this situation is a public health emergency.
It is time for a creative action planning discussion that goes beyond the usual orthodoxies. Who will convene it? Who will participate? Does anyone care?
