Round 2 of grants to be launched in January 2008

Following an important study undertaken in November 2007 on how to support the efforts of local organizations to address the suffering caused by tuberculosis (TB), malaria and HIV and AIDS, and building their capacity to do so, the Three Diseases Fund (3DF) has agreed to launch a second call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs Round 2) towards the end of January 2008.

Extending and scaling up the support to local and community-based organizations is an important component of 3DF work in order to reach those the Fund seeks to support in uncovered and remote areas.

For this second round of funding the 3DF will therefore target with small grants (max. US$100,000 each and no minimum amount) local and community-based organizations for activities to start in July 2008.

The terms of reference for this second round of grants will be available shortly. Meanwhile, interested local organizations may explore ways to associate or to prepare their proposals. For information queries, and until the call for EOI Round 2 will be officially published, please use only the contact page of this website.
