Executive Summary

In 2005, Total began contributing to the first Integrated Health Care (IHC) program for HIV/AIDS care in Myanmar. The primary objective of the program is to provide HIV care, including antiretroviral therapy, to TB-HIV co-infected patients and their HIV-infected spouses and children.
Company Overview

Total Exploration and Production Myanmar (Total E&P) is a subsidiary of the Total group. It was established in the Union of Myanmar in 1992, for the appraisal, development, and production of natural gas from the offshore Yadana field. Since 1995, Total E&P, in cooperation with its partners, has implemented socioeconomic programs in the villages of the gas pipeline area to contribute through its activities to the economic and social development of the communities.
