The posting on street children led to a couple of fascinating comments.

Where's the evidence for this statement?
“The main reason why children live on the street is because their family’s income is not good enough and they live in poverty ... It’s a big problem to be solved.”
I'm sure that abuse is one big reason for some or many of them leaving home.

"Street children eradication" - would that be a translation error perhaps? Recently had some documents translated and later found out some of the terms used were offensive to the communities, despite the people recommended to us have had previously done similar work.

Poverty is too often used as a 'reason' for social issues and problems that have much deeper and complex roots we are unwilling to face. And translation problems can led to painful misunderstandings.
Keep those comments, cards, and letters coming, folks.
