UNAIDS is looking for game-changers

UNAIDS is looking for game-changers! I would have thought they already had enough of them. Though they might have to invite more than just the usual suspects.

Thanks to the Health Gap list for this posting.

Hi to all,

As you may know, UNAIDS is updating its Strategy for 2016-2021.  There are a variety of ways to engage.

The most accessible will be through moderated global virtual consultations. The first of these will be held during the week of 23 March to generate discussion on stakeholder perceptions of strengths, ongoing challenges and game-changers in the AIDS response through the frame of five crosscutting issues: Information, Integration, Innovation, Inclusion and Investment. A second consultation will be held in July on the draft of the Strategy.

UNAIDS Regional Support Teams are hosting regional consultations and inviting participants. Each of the consultations will take a different format—most of them are piggybacking on pre-existing meetings and most of them involve a few different formats and mechanisms.  Regional teams are doing their best to identify and involve representative civil society organizations.  For more information on these consultations you can contact the Regional Community Mobilization Advisors and Gender Advisors listed below.
