Dear Friends,

Here is what I mentioned about the “We All Are Equal” festival. This year is the third time we will hold it. I have washed out my political colour and since then I have not invited any one who is known in politics. We would like to invite seventy to two hundred that we can depend on to finance two hundred and fifty patients. We haven’t got any support from outside supporters until last year.

We didn’t talk about TB or immune deficiency on the day last year. We also sang together with them, “We all are equal”. We built the stage for karaoke and to speak out for their feelings. Bambino sisters helped us last year. We also did weight records of the previous year and that year. And we gave the prize for good health in that year. Also we gave a prize for who had not developed in that year too. There we gave all collection of clothes to our friends, antiretrovirals that we could afford to give, Septrin (cotrimoxazole) for all the people who joined in the festival, and the vitamin tablets to all. We could also give all leftover funds to each of our friends equally.

We know well Ma Phyu Phyu Thin but we couldn’t invite her. She sent her friends. I should say that some young women and men who came to our festival have no political color because they just helping our friends. I could say I am colorless. In previous years we could hold our festival on any day in the last week of December. We could even hold the festival last year when we had to hide due to the events of September. At that time some people from MIT could help us. Also some people from 59 St. Mosque could help us last year. For this year, the three key persons who have taken responsibility to organize this event are in different places. One is studying for a master degree in South Korea. She will be there for 2 years. Another one who is from 59 St. Mosque is in prison for 3 years. So I am alone this year to do the work. Firstly I thought that we wouldn’t hold this year. I decided to do this event after the news of MSF and I remembered my friend who is in Korea and especially the one who is in prison now. So I had to manage alone and it couldn’t be done in December. So I postponed the event to January and others will also help us for this event. I would like to encourage others to donate for this event.
