What is going on with 90-90-90?

It has been several years since the global 90-90-90 goals were first proposed by UNAIDS. There has been ample time for countries to develop the monitoring and evaluation tools needed to measure progress on achieving the goals and report on them. A lot of money has been spent on this.

What is the progress towards the 90-90-90 goals in Myanmar? Can you find a clear cascade diagram that outlines progress? I can’t.

The first 90 column is left blank here. https://www.aidsdatahub.org/sites/default/files/publication/UNAIDS_data_2019.pdf

And the second 90 column is left blank here. https://aidsdatahub.org/sites/default/files/country_review/Myanmar_snapshot_2018.pdf

And the latest UNAID global report says on page 83 that there is viral suppression among all people living with HIV in Myanmar. https://www.unaids.org/en/resources/documents/2019/2019-global-AIDS-update Page 83.

The clearest diagram is predictably at AIDS Data Hub. But it includes both aggregate figures and a cohort figure in one diagram and lack of percentages limits its usefulness. https://www.aidsdatahub.org/Country-Profiles/Myanmar

Multiplying all percentages on this diagram would demonstrate that about a third of people living with HIV in the country are virally suppressed.

What is going on?
