I had three WTF moments reading news about Covid19 coronavirus in Myanmar last week.

1) Eleven Myanmar reports that “critically ill people must live in their homes”.

This will kill them.

2) Then the same outlet says “Dr Than Naing Soe, spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Sports also said Yangon Region is currently seeing clusters of Covid-19 cases in monasteries, homes for the aged and factories.”

First I’ve heard of monastery outbreaks. What actions has the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture taken to protect monks?

3) Finally what is an anosmia centre? Is if different from a fever centre? Is it isolation or quarantine and does anyone know the difference?
